Project Description
Project: Kitchen, Bathroom, Wardrobes and Custom Joinery Work.
Location: Eastwood, Sydney
This Eastwood kitchen and bathroom project came to life when the client contacted Badel Kitchens and Joinery looking for a company that could manage a multi-faceted project – a major renovation of their family home.
The client was looking to update their 40-year-old Northern Suburbs home with a new kitchen and tonnes more storage, to transform it into a more family-friendly, modern, open plan style space. Being an older home, it was quite apparent that even the bathrooms, wardrobes, and the master bedroom walk-in robe needed to be redone. The client presented Badel Kitchens and Joinery with a brief containing the modern ideas and colour selection they wanted to have incorporated in the project. Together, Badel Kitchens and Joinery and the client worked to come up with a design while working within a set budget and timeframe.

Eastwood Testimonial
“We bought a new property in March 2013 and there were a number of areas of the house that required significant renovations. These included a brand new kitchen, two new bathrooms and a laundry, as well as creating a linen cabinet upstairs and an under-the-stairs storage solution. We spoke to a few kitchen and joinery firms including a few old contacts, and also found Badel Kitchens and Joinery through an internet search. Badel designer came for a quote for the kitchen, and we were impressed with the designer’s open plan kitchen concert as well as his ability to listen to what we wanted for the renovation. We picked Badel as it could offer what we wanted, as well as being able to cover not only a new kitchen, but also all other internal renovations required, significantly minimising interfaces.
As with most other renovation projects, there were issues to be resolved. Despite challenges at times, we have always been able to resolve issues (sometimes unexpected) with Badel through frank and fair discussion. Badel also took ownership of its work, provided quality products, engaged skilled tradespersons to perform the relevant trades and made no excuse. Being able to listen to customer’s needs and work collaboratively to develop best-for-project solution is one of Badel’s strengths. For example, we asked for samples of cabinet doors and glass splash back, which proved to be highly valuable to finalise our colour selection for the kitchen.
Despite hearing the horrible stories of working with builders/renovation companies, we must say that we have a pleasant experience renovating with Badel. Thank you Badel once again for helping us achieve the home we enjoy living in now. We would definitely recommend Badel to our friends in the future.”
